The project foreman to provide guidance and supervision to the project team involved in custom home and winery construction projects. The Framing Foreman's responsibilities include but are not limited to assigning and explaining tasks to the project team, responding to clients requests and needs, and regularly inspecting work done by the project team to ensure that it conforms to plans and specifications. You must be able to be a team player and work with the project manager or Superintendent to meet production and quality goals. Foreman's Responsibilities • Understand and comprehend construction documents including building plans. • Communicating with employee's and clients in a respectful manner. • Calculating labor and materials as needed for field extra work orders. • Create and monitor project schedules. • Supervise carpenters and subcontractors • Performing all carpentry duties required, including both rough and finish carpentry. • Maintaining accurate records of all work done by the project team and keep daily records. Must be able to work independently from blueprints and specifications using lathes, mills, drill presses, and other manual equipment. Responsibilities: • Set up and operate manual machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.). • Fabricate and repair parts for pumps, valves, engines, and ship systems. • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. • Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and tolerances. • Follow all shipyard safety standards. Requirements: • 5+ years machining experience (shipyard/marine preferred). • Proficient with manual machining and measuring tools. • Strong blueprint reading skills. • Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment. Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance and light repairs on a fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. • Work with foreman to ensure vehicle scheduling and maintenance stays on track. • Order parts and draft purchase orders to acquire necessary materials. • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. • Perform small-scale welding and metal fabrication as needed. • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions to perform onsite repairs. Qualifications: • A minimum of five years of experience as a truck or heavy equipment mechanic. • Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. • Welding experience is preferred for minor repairs and fabrication. • Must own a complete set of hand tools. The company will provide specialized tools. • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time. • Willingness to work outdoors in various environmental conditions. • Must have acceptable driving record and be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), which the company will fund.
