The acclaimed Flour+Water restaurant, located in San Francisco's Mission District, is hiring a LINE COOK. Our restaurant focuses on creative pasta dishes using local ingredients grown on small Bay Area farms. The menu is rooted in traditional Italian cooking, highlighting the bounty that surrounds us here in Northern California. Our family of businesses also includes Penny Roma, Flour+Water Pasta Shop, Flour+Water Pizzeria, as well as Flour + Water Foods - our recently launched line of retail pasta. Our menu changes often, allowing our cooks to be fully involved in menu development and creativity. Our servers sell a menu that focuses on whole animal butchery, daily changing hand-made pastas, and authentic, wood-oven fired pizzas, as well as a curated selection of Italian wines, focusing on small grower-producers. We are seeking dedicated, team-oriented individuals to fill our full time PM Line Cook position. The ideal candidates are passionate about food and hospitality, share our common goals of refinement and the integrity of our service, and have a strong desire for growth and development. Our PM Line Cook position is an integral part of our BOH service team. This position works approximately 10 hours per shift, and pays $19.18 per hour plus OT and tips. Tips average around $120 per shift, though this is just an average and is often lower or higher depending on the night's service.
