We focus on providing all children a foundation to fitness and sports and learn about nutrition and their muscles. We are looking for energetic, independent, fun and reliable individuals to join our team! Ideal candidate has a passion for children, sports and fitness. We visit local daycares, preschools and afterschool programs across Nassau County and Western Suffolk County year round. Amazing Athletes offers Coaches flexible schedules, a pathway for growth and development and a chance to work with and inspire youths. Classes range from 30-45 minutes (plus 15 minutes setup/breakdown.) You will teach the basic fundamentals of 10 different sports following each week's Amazing Athletes curricula to ages 18 months to 6 years old. Our coaches will begin with training in the Amazing Athletes methods, executing demonstrations in various childcare centers in the territory, starting new classes, enrolling students and looking to consistently grow classes. We are seeking experienced, FUN, energetic, early-childhood teachers and coaches to join our program, You will be the face of the company! Requirements Arrive early and be prepared in advance to teach the class (includes commuting time.) Building strong relationships with parents, teachers, directors, and children on a daily basis. Teaching and conducting classes in an organized, structured, and fun manner. Making sure you are outgoing and engaging every child, in every class. Understanding responsibilities while the children are under your supervision. Maintaining up to date class rosters on a weekly basis. Submitting accurate pay stubs to management for review. Experience working with Pre-School Age Children (preschool teachers, camp counselor, elementary education substitute teacher, coach, etc.) Passion for sports/fitness. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to teach children ages 18 months to 6 years the basic fundamentals of various sports in a fun and non-competitive environment. Our goal is to encourage healthy habits and build confidence in young athletes while ensuring they have a great time! This position offers flexibility with part-time hours and competitive pay. Classes are typically held in the mornings and early afternoons, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Requirements - Must be reliable to work a set schedule, but can be flexible on the days of the week. Coaches work primarily in the morning and early afternoon. - Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (professional experience is preferred but not mandatory). - A positive attitude and a love for sports and teaching young children. - Must be at least 18 years old and possess a clean criminal background check. - Reliable transportation is required for traveling to different locations within the community. This job requires traveling of upwards of 30 minutes or more. Long distance travel will be reimbursed. - CPR certification is a plus, though not required. - Ability to maintain a positive relationship with parents, teachers, and staff at daycare/preschool locations.
