I am looking for a driver to haul dry van loads under Mercer. This is 1099 position. We are offering .65/mile. We have late model trucks in perfect condition. Inverter, microwave fridge and brand new mattress. Must have a clean MVR and be willing to be OTR 2 weeks at a time. This is a full time position. We are a family run company and take care of our equipment and drivers. Looking for serious applicants only. We are a local trucking company seeking an experienced, reliable, 26ft Box truck OTR drivers. No CDL is required for the Box Truck driving position, but a plus if you have one. REQUIREMENTS: - Driver must be willing to go OTR - Clean driving history and current MVR - Clean Background - Current DOT med card - Minimum of two years driving box trucks (26ft or similar) - Reliable and on time - Knowledge of GPS/ELD/Logbooks - Must have a smartphone and ability to operate it - Clear communication (will need to relay info to dispatchers and/or management in timely manner) - Flexible hours (including weekends and holidays), although we strive to work with our drivers as much as possible to provide some life balance. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Good knowledge of DOT regulations - Good driving behavior - Ability to work independently - Strong attention to detail - Ability to problem-solve on the go - Good time management skills and a self-starter - Strong work ethic, a Can do attitude, and a team player.
