G+D is currently seeking a Punch Machine Operator to support our high-volume production environment in Bolingbrook Illinois on 1st Shift working Monday through Friday 5:30 am - 1:30 pm. In this role, the Punch Machine Operator will be responsible for preparing, loading, operating, and maintaining punch equipment to ensure product quality and efficiency. Duties & Essential Job Functions: Operate and monitor punch production machines according to defined specifications. Understand and execute the entire range of machine functions and operating sequences. Load materials onto machines in the required order and sequence. Read job specifications and previous run data to set machine parameters and material requirements. Perform maintenance following proper Lockout/Tag-out procedures. Meet or exceed job standards for line speeds, scrap rates, and setup times. Load and unload stock efficiently and safely.
