Job Summary: Prepare cylinders according to established procedures. Ensure that cylinders are prepared and ready for maintenance crew as needed. Duties include: • Valve and de-valve cylinders. • Scrap labels to prepare for regular maintenance. • General maintenance of cylinders. • Maintain a safe and clean work area. • Attend Monthly Safety Meetings. Work according to established safety procedures and promote safety with co-workers. Inform supervisors of potential safety hazards. • Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits. • Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws. Requirements include: • General knowledge of common hand tools, power tools and their proper use. • Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and good math skills. • Good reading and writing skills. Able to read and comprehend technical manuals and government publications. • Able to work independently. • Able to lift/move 80 lbs. • Work Environment-some outside. • Must pass drug screen and background check. Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $22.00/hr. for Day Shift and $23.00/hr for Swing Shift. The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.-$29.50/hr. Job Summary: Performs routine daily acetylene production and cylinder filling activities. These activities include the operation and monitoring of process equipment, cylinder filling, material handling, and minor equipment maintenance. Follows industry and government guidelines and adhere to all company safety requirements. Duties include:  Perform visual inspection on all cylinders prior to filling.  Weigh all Acetylene cylinders to determine Acetone needs.  Record all residual and stray fulls from cylinders.  Perform hourly plant safety checks.  Refill Carbide hoppers when needed.  Track Carbide usage and inform management when inventory reaches re-order point.  Track Acetone inventory, inform management when inventory reaches re-order point.  Load Lime slurry for disposal.  Recover residual from all “out of test” cylinders prior to sending to re-qualification facility.  Perform PM’s on all associated equipment used for cylinder filling and inspection. As assigned.  Report monthly cylinder totals on approved tracking forms to the production supervisor. Requirements include:  Industry experience such as handling cylinders and/or previous knowledge of gases, Cylinder filling procedures, paperwork and plant operations is preferred.  Able to read and comprehend safety rules and regulations.  Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.  Able to operate a forklift; general knowledge of common hand tools, power tools, and their proper use.  Able to lift/move 70 lbs; able to stand for most of the day, work in outdoor conditions.  Able to work independently.  You must pass drug screen and background check. The ideal individual will be responsible for inspections, initial services, and recurring maintenance and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to required standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and property maintenance (e.g., Lock work, Yard care, Cleaning, Snow removal, Winterization, Repair, Maintenance). Secure vacant properties by changing locks, boarding windows, and addressing safety hazards. Take clear and timestamped before/after photos of all work completed. Maintain open communication with the coordination team regarding job status and issues. Handle emergency work orders, such as securing broken windows or water leaks. Requirements: Experience in property preservation, or field services preferred. Basic tools and equipment required (e.g., lawnmower, drill, smartphone or tablet for photos). Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete work independently. Strong time management and problem-solving skills. Must be able to pass background checks.
