Equipment Mechanic (Homer, NY) General Description: This position will be responsible for maintenance and general repairs on all types of; heavy, medium, light-duty, gas, & diesel vehicles, equipment and trailers. Complete set of hand tools to effectively get the work accomplished. Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components. The ability to read and comprehend required paperwork such as work orders, repair manuals, wiring schematics, drawings. Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, & electrical problems. Experience operating equipment preferred. Work well with others Valid driver’s license. CDL driver's license NOT required but preferred.
