PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Athenian School seeks an Upper School Engineering teacher to teach three sections for the spring semester, including two sections of Engineering and one section of Advanced Engineering. We are looking for an educator who will inspire students to think like engineers—curious, creative problem-solvers who design, build, test, and iterate. Candidates should be excited to collaborate on a curriculum that blends technical skills, hands-on making, and design thinking with real-world applications. Strong candidates will also embrace opportunities to integrate Athenian’s Pillars—Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service—into classroom and project work. We seek a teacher who models lifelong learning, engages students in collaborative and experiential learning, and contributes to the vibrant life of our community outside the classroom. Candidates for this role also have the opportunity to lead our Upper School robotics program which brings the role to 1.0. CORE QUALIFICATIONS Successful candidates will bring cultural competency and a proven ability to work with students, families, and colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. We seek teachers with experience in engineering education, applied sciences, or related fields, and with the skills to guide students through both foundational and advanced engineering coursework. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree and prior experience teaching high school students are preferred. Expertise in areas such as robotics, CAD, electronics, fabrication, or programming is highly valued. Kassirer Sports is run by a former professional Wimbledon tennis player. We are hiring coaches to teach our After School 2025-2026 Sessions . Fall Sessions are ongoing. Winter sessions begin in January after the Winter break. Sessions run throughout the school year. We are off for school holidays. We are hiring Tennis, Golf, Basketball, Soccer, Badminton and Pickleball Coaches to teach youth ages 5-10 for an after school program at local elementary schools all over San Francisco Bay! Sample class times: 1:50pm-2:05pm; 2:15pm-3:30pm; 3:15pm-4:45pm; 3:30pm-5pm. We always include 15 minutes of set up in each shift, so minimum shift is 1.25 hours. This is part time work with a flexible schedule. Coaches drive to schools in their community to teach group classes after school dismissal. Coaches can teach 1-2 classes per afternoon, Monday - Friday. Coaches can work 2 shifts on some days at 2 different schools that are nearby and teach 1-5 days per week. We will customize schedules based on each coach's afternoon availability. (It's possible to teach 5-7 classes per week if you have full availability weekday afternoons). Coaches must have consistent availability on the days they are scheduled to coach. Requirements to Coach: 18 years of age or older Have your own reliable transportation Skilled athlete in sport you want to coach.
