Project Manager (Canoga Park)

Reputable Finish Carpentry and Design company seeks Project Manager with finish carpentry experience for immediate hire! This position is for full-time work for the right candidates. We are looking for self-starters and team players. Responsibilities include assisting Project Manager with the following: • Material Ordering – Review project proposal and order material accordingly; review Purchase Orders from vendors; and follow up on material orders • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones • Weekly project scheduling • Create change orders for projects as needed • Draw detail sketches and specifications • Coordinate with Estimator to review plan take-offs for accuracy Requirements: • Minimum 2 years field installation and 1 year project coordinator experience • AutoCAD Drafting experience, a plus! • Must be able to read and understand construction plans and finish schedules • Computer literate. Experience with Excel, Google Drive and Adobe a plus! • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards • Understanding of all facets of the construction process • Ability to plan and see the “big picture” • BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or equivalent work experience a plus!
