Columbia Modern Living is seeking a Full-Time Professional Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Seattle/Columbia City. As a Working Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing a variety of maintenance duties to ensure our residential apartments are well maintained and move-in ready. The ideal candidate is reliable, skilled in multiple trades, and able to lead by example while maintaining a professional and respectful attitude toward residents and staff. RESPONSIBIITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Supervise and perform all aspects of apartment maintenance and unit preparation. Coordinate apartment turns and repairs with residents and the Portfolio Manager. Replace plumbing fixtures and perform general plumbing repairs. Complete electrical repairs and light fixture replacements. Perform drywall, carpentry, and cabinet/door repairs. Install and repair household appliances. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Ensure resident compliance with rental agreements when conducting repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance. Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair. Ability to follow directions, work independently, and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Professional and respectful attitude toward residents and staff. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. The ideal individual will be responsible for inspections, initial services, and recurring maintenance and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to required standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and property maintenance (e.g., Lock work, Yard care, Cleaning, Snow removal, Winterization, Repair, Maintenance). Secure vacant properties by changing locks, boarding windows, and addressing safety hazards. Take clear and timestamped before/after photos of all work completed.
