Summary Our Client is seeking an experienced Facilities/Equipment Technician to join their operations and maintenance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing general building, production equipment and internal systems within a manufacturing and clean room environment. Duties • Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on a wide range of building and production equipment. • Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform independent evaluations to prevent future issues. • Conduct general maintenance duties, including carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical tasks. • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including lockout/tag-out and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Maintain a strict schedule while demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of the day. • This position requires a broad level of skills from taking out the trash and replacing light bulbs to repairing a high value technical machine and knowing when to call in a specialized repair person. Requirements • A high school diploma or equivalent. • At least 3+ year of maintenance experience in a relevant trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or water treatment). • At least 2+ year of manufacturing experience in a relevant industry • The ability to work at heights up to 30 feet or higher using aerial or scissor lifts. • The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unaided. • Willingness to work overtime as required and train outside of shift times as needed. • Supervisory experience is highly preferred for this position.
