About the Position: As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of foreign and domestic cars and light trucks. You will work with the latest diagnostic equipment and tools to ensure our customers' vehicles are running smoothly and safely. What You Will Do: • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostics. • Diagnose and repair various automotive systems including mechanical, electrical and brake systems, power trains, suspensions, etc. • Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.). • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Document repairs and services accurately. • Stay up-to-date on automotive technology and industry best practices. What You Will Bring: • Required: ◦ 5+years of experience in automotive repair. ◦ Willingness to learn and develop automotive repair skills. ◦ Excellent problem-solving abilities. ◦ Attention to detail. ◦ Your own common tools for automotive work – 1/4" drive, 3/8" drive, and 1/2" drive sockets and ratchets, wrenches, pliers, etc. ◦ A positive and professional attitude. • Preferred: ◦ Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical). ◦ ASE Certifications. ◦ New Hampshire state inspection certification. ◦ Experience with domestic and foreign automobiles and light trucks. Experience repairing German vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, etc.) is a plus! ◦ Experience with computer diagnostics.
