Fencing Manufacturer & Distribution Company is currently searching for a Class A Truck Driver reporting to the Branch Manager, at our Sacramento, CA, location. Minimum Requirements • Must hold a valid Commercial Class-A Driver’s License • Flatbed experience preferred • Must have a driving record in Good Standing. To be in Good Standing Driver must present a current DMV printout report with none of the violations below: o Any major violations (DWI, homicide, reckless driving, drugs, leaving the scene) within the last three years. o Two or more other moving violations and one at fault accident in the last three years. o Three or more other moving violations in the last three years. o Two or more at fault accidents in the last three years with no moving violations. • Local delivery routes • Loads outgoing shipments on the truck for delivery to the customers. • Previous CDL Driving experience • Positive attitude • Ability to read maps efficiently • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment • Strong customer service orientation. • Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers • An ability to function well as part of a team • Attention to detail and safety Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Safely transport equipment to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner • Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections • Follow all company Operational Procedures and QC Standards • Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations • Maintain Truck Equipment/Inventory • Maintain the service and appearance of truck Education, Experience and Required Skills, Including Certificates, Licenses and Registrations • High school diploma or equivalent • Driver's license Class (A) required • Lift up to 75 lbs. • Forklift Certified preferred • Flatbed experience a plus • Knowledge of GVWs, state regulations regarding height and weight maximums, winch operations We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, Drug-Free work environment.
