We are a residential/commercial excavation contractor seeking a reliable, hardworking site work laborer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work in a hands on role with experienced contractors. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE; - Labor only to assist with residential/commercial excavation projects including site prep, grading, trenching and back-filling. - Operate hand tools and small equipment as needed - NO HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATION- - Load/Unload materials, maintain a clean and safe job site. - Support equipment operators and crew leaders with daily tasks. Must work well with others and take direction. - Shop work as assigned - Follow safety procedures and company standards REQUIREMENTS - Previous construction or excavation experience preferred (willing to train the right person) - Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions. - reliable transportation to and from shop, live within 30 minutes from Putnam, CT. - Strong work ethic, punctuality and teamwork attitude. - Must be able to lift 50lbs + and work on your feet for extended periods of times.
