Receptionist needed for fast paced Veterinary Hospital in north OKC Must have Receptionist experience, AviMark experience a plus, must also have computer knowledge as well as be able to multi-task as this is a busy practice. Applicant must have reliable transportation, be able to work a flexible schedule that includes some Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and support to pet owners while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Handle phone inquiries regarding services, appointment scheduling, and general pet care questions. Process payments. Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Provide clients with information on pet care, grooming services, and clinic policies. Maintain knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and aseptic techniques to effectively communicate with clients and staff. Qualifications Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred. Knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients and their pets. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and appointments. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
