Bass player (and other stuff) looking for mates to play and write with

I play mainly bass, but also acoustic and some electric guitar, hammered and Appalachian dulcimer, regular and octave mandolin, and a couple other instruments (with varying degrees of proficiency), and I'm looking for other multi-instrumentalists who would like to write and play some original music, and maybe some unique covers, mainly for the fun and gratification of performing. Of course, I wouldn't mind recording, either. Even if you play one instrument and like the idea, please get in touch. I have this idea of three or four or five guys who could all lead a band but who each have the experience (yeah, that means age) that would allow everyone to recognize each other's abilities and play off them. Not looking to be the next big thing, but also not writing off being the next big thing (at least around Tallahassee) just because we're that good! I like rock, broadly, but enjoy many genres (such as Irish trad) and incorporate them into a rock/pop/progressive style. Hope to hear from you soon!
