




The Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care and support to adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs living in a licensed Adult Residential Facility. The DSP is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of each resident while promoting independence, dignity, and community integration. MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING 1.Must pass DOJ/FBI background check, health screening, and TB test. 2.Current First Aid and CPR certification required 3.Valid California driver’s license Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene. Support residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, eating, housekeeping, and laundry. Administer and document medications in compliance with facility policy. Assist residents in developing social, communication, and self-help skills. Accompany residents to community outings, medical appointments, and recreational activities. Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being; report changes promptly to the Administrator. Maintain accurate and timely documentation including daily logs, incident reports, medication records, and progress notes. Ensure a clean, safe, and positive home environment at all times. Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and ongoing professional development. Uphold residents’ rights, confidentiality, and person-centered values in all interactions.
