The restaurant format is many shared small plates, emulating the experience of dining at a Middle Eastern family's home in which there's a huge spread to taste from. The highlight of the restaurant is Kubeh, a sort of Middle Eastern thick dumpling. Melanie Shurka, the executive chef brings forth traditional Middle Eastern dishes as well as innovative variations to the guests. Many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes. We are currently looking for motivated, friendly, and experienced servers and bartenders to join our team. At Kubeh we all work hard and together to provide top notch quality service in a warm cozy environment. About You: - Minimum of 2 years as a Server and/or Bartender in NYC restaurant industry - Passionate about high quality service in a friendly environment - You're interest in unique foods and love to talk about them with your guests. - You have excellent knowledge of wine, beer and liquor and you love to sell! - Work well under pressure - you live for challenge and change! - You're a hard worker and a great team player. - You have a great sense of humor, know how to be light, great attitude and professional demeanor. This is a neighborhood spot and we love to get to know our regulars, so this is the kind of place that we want you to be you. - You have an open and flexible schedule.
