Schneider Deli in River North has been slinging bagels, breakfast, and lunch sandwiches for two years now. We're located on the North West corner of La Salle Drive and Ohio Street attached to the Ohio House Motel. We are a fast paced Jewish deli selling house made meat and fish sandwiches. Classics like cured gravlax and hand sliced corned beef and pastrami. We make our own sides, soups and salads too. We are open from 7am to 2pm Mon-Thu, 7am to 3pm Fri-Sun. We are currently hiring a full time hot line cook. This job is 5 shifts per week. Pay starts at $19/hr plus shared tips (which averages at least $6/hr). Responsibilities required of this job: - able to read tickets and quickly make sandwiches to order - perform in a fast paced environment - work clean and neat - proficient food handling skills including fine knife skills - work well on a team - respects co-workers - at least 3 years of hot line food handling experience - up-to-date Food Handlers certification Availability: 6:30am to 3:30pm every day.
