Our restaurant group is hiring a dishwasher/porter for our Gramercy Park restaurant. Previous experience as a dishwasher/porter in a full-service restaurant is essential for this person to be successful in this role. Key Responsibilities include but aren't limited to: * cleaning and sanitizing dishes, pots, and utensils using commercial dishwashers * help maintain a clean kitchen, stocking clean dishes * general cleaning tasks like taking out trash, sweeping and mopping floors * handle all incoming deliveries - checking them in and unloading deliveries * ensure restaurant is completely clean at the end of each night The ideal candidate has experience in a high volume restaurant and is knowledgeable around BOH best practices. They are energetic, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with the kitchen and the Executive Chef.
