Baker Overview: We are seeking bakers who are team players, skilled in the art of making artisanal breads and laminated pastries, have a passion for practicing and evolving their craft, and have a desire to learn and take on increased responsibilities as our young bakery/cafe ‘rises’.    ARE YOU THE RIGHT PERSON Team driven/oriented Excellent communicator Eager to learn and develop skills  Motivated by professional excellence Evaluating product for expected quality standards Suggesting/Making process or condition changes to achieve expected quality standards Entrepreneurial Spirit Willingness/desire to take on added responsibility Willingness to make/develop product suggestions to enhance menu offerings and increase sales Willingness to learn regulatory information/processes needed to run the bakery/café business   This is a full-time or part-time hourly position at the bakery/café on Main Street, Redwood City, CA and compensation is based on experience.    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Min. 2 years experience as a Baker or combination Baker’s Apprentice and Baker Mis en place, scaling, other prep Mixing various doughs and batters Pre-shaping, shaping, proofing, baking naturally leavened breads and baguettes Laminating and shaping viennoiserie products Ability to monitor food quality and presentation, uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards- clean up!
