Looking for 1 housemate to fill a beautiful sunny 3 bdrm/1 bath home in NE Portland (MLK/Fremont). Move-in Nov 1. LGBTQ+ friendly and neuro-inclusive. We are looking someone that is responsible, interested in contributing to house up-keep, and good at open communication. Our ideal housemate is warm, respectful, cat-friendly and committed to a longer lease. Details: Rent is $955 per month for each room. Utilities combined (gas, water, electric and internet) range $100-150 a month per person throughout the year. The lease is 18 months, running from Nov 1, 2025- April 1, 2027. The rent has just increased and would be locked in for the whole lease. Option to extend lease in April. The required security deposit is $834 per person. Important Note: There is always the option of individual tenants getting off the lease with at least 30 days notice, providing us with time to get a new tenant on the lease. So you are not necessarily committed for the full 18 months! Shared kitchen with basic appliances, dining room, living room, guest room and laundry room. Good sized bathroom with shower/tub combo and lots of storage. Washer and dryer, backyard space with a fire pit, grill, shed and small garden area. Yard space is lush and shady with fruit trees and raspberry bushes. The open room is wood-paneled with a small closet, large window and has a full-sized bed frame and dresser that can be left for next tenant. Free street parking. All of property is non-smoking. There is one cat living here, no additional pets at this time. The location is fantastic, since it is near Irving Park with easy access to MLK, Williams, Alberta, Mississippi, Broadway, multiple bus lines, I-5 and I-405. Housemates: E (she/her, 33) I enjoy exploring natural areas, cooking, watching birds, playing board games, reading, rooting for women’s soccer and drinking tea. I am a homebody and feel most settled in a quiet, clean space. K (she/her, 28): I’m a fairly extroverted person who enjoys social connection and staying active, but also needs quiet time to rest and recover. Some of my hobbies include yoga, flow arts, live music, dancing, movies, and spending time with friends. I want home to be a safe, calm, tidy and welcoming space for everyone. Charlie (K’s cat): He is shy at first, a bit skiddish, but so sweet and lovely once he’s comfortable. If you are interested in this space, let’s chat! Please reply with a bit of information about you, your desired move-in date, and why you think this might be a good fit. Then we can schedule a time to meet up, discuss further and show you the space.
