$1,400 / 2br - Cozy room in charming Coolidge corner apartment (Brookline)

Hi! My 9/1 roommate has fell through and I am now reposting. Available now for a lease through 8/31/26! Me: I’m Steph. Just an average gal who works in education and navigating this wild world and economy…wondering “when is it time to live alone?” and remembering that it is impossible on a solo income! I have lived in this wonderful apartment in Coolidge corner for 8 years now. I’m a speech pathologist and value open communication from those around me, especially roommates! I love travel, kayaking, reading, exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and a good glass of wine. I love to socialize, but also maintain a good amount of time for myself. The apartment: The apartment is a two bedroom, one bath, light filled space. It is on the fourth floor - which means you get your steps in, but there is no noise above us. There’s a lot of old charm within the unit - high ceilings, crown moldings, large windows, French doors. The room is a cozy 10.5X11.5 foot with high ceilings and multiple windows. It has a lovely view. It comfortably can fit a queen, dresser, and bookshelf or full size bed with end tables added. I keep a neat and tidy space. Currently, we have monthly cleaners to reduce need to divide larger chores, but also stay on top of day to day maintenance. This is negotiable! Laundry (FREE), a storage unit, and bike rack are located in the basement. All utilities and cleaners together run to be roughly 150 month. The building is very well managed. It has an updated door security system and is very well manicured/landscaped. It is managed by a property group which performs credit checks and has salary requirements. This means that the building is full of professionals and is quiet! The neighborhood: Coolidge corner is truly one of the best areas in Boston metro. The neighborhood is a major sell! It is super safe, clean, and welcoming. Trader Joe’s, the booksmith, and Coolidge theater are highlights for many. We also have all conveniences steps away - CVS, cafes, take out, the C line, and the 66 bus. You: Respectful, clean, and mature human with likeminded views, values, and hopes for a living arrangement. I am hoping to find someone who is in a similar situation so we can live our own lives, but come together for socialization and problem solving as needed. I look forward to hearing from you!
