$1,200 / 2br - Really good deal - bedroom available - great apartment, great location (South Slope / Sunset Park)

Hi all - my name is John, and I have a great deal for working professionals looking for a stable, affordable apartment in a terrific location. I am seeking a roommate to share my sunny two-bedroom apartment in Sunset Park/South Slope. The apartment is located on 23rd Street between 3rd and 4th. It is close to transportation (two blocks from the 25th Street R line, a short walk from the 36th Street station, and a short bike ride to downtown Brooklyn), restaurants, bars, a few minutes from Green-Wood Cemetery, and near both Sunset Park and Park Slope, with all they have to offer. The rent is $1,200 for the room, plus utilities and internet (between $100 and $200 per month, depending on the time of year). ABOUT THE APARTMENT: This room is a great deal. It is in an apartment on the top story of a three unit house. The owners/landlords live in the basement unit, and are very nice people. I am the tenant, and you would sign an Roommate Agreement with me. To move in will cost the first month's rent ($1,200) plus a security deposit of $1,200, for a total of $2,400. The apartment is in good condition, gets excellent light, and has nice air flow. The bedroom for rent has two windows and a closet. I have included pictures of the bedroom when it was furnished by a previous occupant, as well as its current state (empty, except for a bed frame and mattress). ABOUT ME: I am a responsible high school teacher who has lived in the Sunset Park area since 2016. I'm looking for a roommate who is financially responsible, respectful of common areas, helps to keep the apartment clean, and doesn't mind keeping the volume down after 9:30pm (I have to go to bed early because I wake up early each day). I am a very responsible and respectful roommate, and I'm looking for someone who will be a good fit. NOTE: Please respond to this posting if you are interested.
