Tire Tech (Palmdale)

As a valued member of our team, the Tire Technician will be responsible for the inspection, repair, installation, and replacement of tires on cars, trucks, and other fleet vehicles. Responsibilities includes ensuring that tires are safe and reliable and that they work in tandem with other vehicle systems. Perform tire mounting and balancing operations, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and safety. Maintain optimal tire pressure and maximize tire life. Conduct regular tire testing and collect data to assess tire performance and longevity. Visit all locations and ensure proper procedures and inflation requirements are met. Schedule and assign road and fleet services. Manage tire inventory and expense control, ensuring adequate stock levels for operational needs and conducting regular audits for accuracy. Uphold company standards in all tire-related operations and communications. Verify all vendors meet satisfactory requirements. Ensure D.O.T. and safety policies are followed. Perform other tasks as required. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and work overtime as job duties demand. Travel Required: Yes Preferred Education and Experience Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Possess a valid unrestricted California Driver’s license. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
