ShareThe role will is responsible for transporting flower arrangements, plants, and other goods from the shop to the surrounding area through use of navigation tools for route optimization, while adhering to the policies and procedures established by Flowers by Coley. They will also be responsible for maintaining good customer relations, as a representative of Flowers by Coley. Essential Functions of the Job: Responsible for proper handling and delivery of fresh flower arrangements, plants and gift items from our shop to recipients’ homes and businesses; Have a general knowledge of San Diego and surrounding area; Responsible for obeying both traffic and parking law Adhere to proper delivery policies and procedures including those related to order confirmation, weather limitations and undeliverable items; Pay close attention to special delivery instructions; Maintain a neat, professional appearance, as a representative of Flowers by Coley; Sustain business by maintaining good customer relations and communication; Keep vehicle clean and report any automotive issues; Available to work additional hours and/or Saturdays during peak holiday seasons and/or as needed; Able to stock shelves, sweep and/or condition flowers during slow times; Requirements: Education: -High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience: -One (1) to two (2) years delivery driving experience preferred -Qualifications and Licensure (required): Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and must have very good driving record Must be able to lift, carry, load up to 30lbs Must be comfortable driving a cargo van If interested please text or email and we will have a quick phone interview first then will have qualified candidates come in person.
