Apply Now or Call 239-460-0986 Driver Duties:  The 48' trailer will be loaded by the customer with a forklift.   99% of the freight will be palletized which will be unloaded with a manual pallet jack and there could be some loose freight that will need to be hand unloaded or unloaded via two-wheel hand truck.   Drivers will be averaging 10-20 stops per day Drivers will need steel toed, puncture proof shoes and Freight type: general freight Drivers are driving 30-mile radius Schedule: Monday – Friday Shift: 5am-7am  Hazmat Preferred  Benefits:  Payrate is $32.00-32.00/hour  Eligibility for health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, sick pay, holiday pay & 401k Driver Requirements:  1 year of Class A driving experience Valid Class A License and Medical Card Hazmat Endorsement Preferred Ability to pass drug screen 22 years of age or older    This pay range outlined herein is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law. Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and hard-working driver to join our team in the Midwest! This lane is between Henderson. KY, to St. Louis. (area), Cedar Rapids, Chicago, Valliant OK, Russellville AR. The average miles are between 2500 and 3000 per week. 50% drop and hook, 50% live unload. Duties Include: 1. Transportation: - Pickup and deliver loads safely and on time. - Follow scheduled routes or adjust based on instructions and traffic conditions. 2. Vehicle Maintenance: - Preform dot inspections daily (oil, tire pressure, brakes, lights, etc.). - Report issues and schedule maintenance as needed to keep the truck in working order. 3. Loading and Unloading: - Drop/Hook trailers. - Securely load and unload cargo to prevent damage. 4. Documentation: - Maintain accurate records (elogs, mileage, fuel, customer signatures). - Ensure proper documentation for all deliveries of transportation activities. 5. Customer Service: - Communicate with clients, customers, in a professional and courteous manner. - Handle complaints or issues when they arise and report back to management if needed. 6. Compliance: - Follow traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies. - Maintain a valid driver's license and medical card and any necessary endorsements. 7. Safety: - Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. - Stay aware of surroundings to prevent accidents or theft.
