Steve Schmidt Trucking is looking to hire more class a cdl drivers for end dump work in henderson colorado. Pay is 30 percent of what the truck makes with no fuel charge or hidden fees. Most of the trucks average 110-130 a hour. Trucks have a lot of work at all times. Home every day and mostly local. The fleet consists of peterbilt and kenworths all flat hoods with caterpillar engines and 13/18 speeds. Trailers are all end dumps either rock trailers, high sides, or aluminum. Must have a fairly clean driving record and a little experience for insurance to allow us to insure you. POSITION SUMMARY: The EMT is responsible for delivering high-quality pre-hospital and interfacility medical care and ensuing the safe, efficient transport of critically ill or injured patients via ground ambulance. This role requires a skilled and adaptable individual who can operate effectively in dynamic, high-pressure environments, including rural and remote settings. The Ground Paramedic works collaboratively with health partners to assess, stabilize, and manage patients in the field and during transport. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine medical needs during transport. • Provide advanced life support (ALS) and critical care interventions, including airway management, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and medication administration. • Continuously monitor and manage patient conditions during transport, making necessary interventions as per medical protocols. • Communicate effectively with medical control, receiving facilities, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, interventions, and transport details. • Ensure safe and efficient patient transport via ground ambulance. • Assist in loading and unloading patients while ensuring proper securing of stretchers and medical equipment. • Operate within ground safety protocols, following crew resource management principles. • Perform pre-transport equipment checks to ensure all medical supplies and life support equipment are operational. • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care. • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information about the transport process. • Participate in debriefings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety. • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding emergency medica services and air medical transport. • Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment. • Other duties as assigned.
