Monitors and keep records daily of the screen and basket inventory. Responsible for building any screens and decks needed for production. Screens must be scraped daily by the production helper. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine medical needs during transport. • Provide advanced life support (ALS) and critical care interventions, including airway management, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and medication administration. • Continuously monitor and manage patient conditions during transport, making necessary interventions as per medical protocols. • Communicate effectively with medical control, receiving facilities, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, interventions, and transport details. • Ensure safe and efficient patient transport via ground ambulance. • Assist in loading and unloading patients while ensuring proper securing of stretchers and medical equipment. • Operate within ground safety protocols, following crew resource management principles. • Perform pre-transport equipment checks to ensure all medical supplies and life support equipment are operational. • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care. • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information about the transport process. • Participate in debriefings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety. • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding emergency medica services and air medical transport. • Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment. • Other duties as assigned.
