The ideal candidate will have knowledge of diesel mechanics and an overall understanding of mechanical theory. Must be self-motivated, have a wiliness to learn in a fast-paced environment and have your own tools. Duties & responsibilities Responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on all fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance from minor to major repairs on all class A trucks/trailers and forklifts Perform 90-day BIT inspections on all trucks, trailers and complete paperwork as needed Perform oil changes, grease and inspect all working units Knowledge of electrical systems Engine Repairs Diagnose and repair electrical, fuel systems, emission systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, transmission and carriers Perform quality diagnostics and recommend repairs needed Perform professional repairs to OEM specs Qualifications Ability to follow instructions Valid driver’s license required Good computer skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Effective oral and written communication Maintain safe work area Attend paid training programs Additional Information Upon offer, the Company conducts a comprehensive pre-employment background check, physical and drug test. Our company is looking to add an experienced Press Brake Operator familiar with large and small production runs on Amada and Cincinnati equipment. Must be able to work alone and in tandem with others Monday-Friday (we work four ten-hour days with OT on Fridays). Must be able to read prints/drawings and have a mastery of basic math as it applies to measurements to the thousandths of an inch (.001). Must be able to lift and do repetitive movements full time, 40+ hours a week. Must take pride in their work and understand the difference between aerospace tolerance and duct work (no dis-respect to the HVAC industry). Must have the capacity to use computer controls and make adjustments as necessary to maintain tolerance as tight as ±0.005in. Must have reliable transportation and maintain regular attendance.
