Laborer – Fire/Water Restoration 📍 Deerfield, MA ⏰ 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Monday–Friday 💲 $17/hour 🚨 Immediate Start About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Laborer to join our fire and water damage restoration team. This is a hands-on position that involves assisting with cleanup, demolition, and restoration of residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, or other damage. Training will be provided, but candidates should be reliable, hardworking, and ready to jump in immediately. EXPERIENCED CNC Machine Operator for Halpern Titanium's 15-person CNC machine shop in Palmer. Any candidate must have 2-3 years experience as a CNC operator. Must have good measuring skills, the ability to set-up new jobs and read prints. Experience milling titanium and composites is a plus. We are an audio manufacturer based in Deerfield MA. We are looking for a part-time employee to help with production tasks including making sub-assemblies and preparing cabinets to packaging products. Soldering experience preferred but not required. Part-time, short term position with potential for longer term. Pay commensurate with experience $18-21/hr. Uvitron International, a developer and manufacturer of UV light curing systems, is looking for a motivated individual to serve as a full-time Shipping and Receiving clerk. In addition to high organizational skills and punctuality, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work on parallel tasks in a high pace environment with set deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for checking-in UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other courier deliveries; inspecting and stocking items received; verifying against invoices and packing slips; and preparing discrepancy reports as needed. - Responsible for shipping out UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight shipments while ensuring timely and accurate processing. - Maintain filing system for customer orders and utilize shipping/inventory software to track all inventory items stored in the warehouse. - Organize warehouse inventory, update records in warehouse management systems, and perform general housekeeping and cleaning tasks. - Perform ISO 9001-related tasks such as processing non-conforming material, logging late shipments, and maintaining compliance records. - Assist in assembly or purchasing departments as time permits, coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve delivery or shipment issues. - Perform other related duties as required, including troubleshooting shipping software, and coordinating with UPS, FedEx, and DHL representatives on service or account issues. Qualifications: - Experienced in using carrier shipping software such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and DHL Easy Ship to process, track, and manage shipments. - High School diploma or equivalent, or GED - Knowledge of basic computer skills required. - The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. - Strong interpersonal skills for working with outside vendors. - International Shipping experience is a plus. - Fundamental understanding of drawings specs is a plus. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Must be dependable, motivated, organized, trustworthy.
