ShareAmpco Tubes is looking to add to our Shipping & Receiving Department. We are a manufacturing company specializing in mandrel tube bending for a variety of industries. This is a full-time day shift position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm We are a fast-paced environment that requires a team player with a great work ethic. Come join our team and we'll be successful together. Position Responsibilities Packing goods in shipping containers, handle mailing labels and shipping documents. Ensure all orders have been filled with correct parts and quantity. Count and inspect all incoming products and file paperwork. Communicate with production and administrative staff. Operate forklift to load product in trucks and unload tube and pipe. Provide general support to visitors. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. General housekeeping of work area. Perform routine duties with minimal supervision after training. Perform other duties as assigned, including operating manufacturing equipment. Position Requirements: A willingness to learn the trade and embrace on the job training. You must have a valid driver license. You must be available to work 40 hours per week, arrive on time and be actively engaged. You must be able to communicate if you are not able to report for work. The ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Proficient with a tape measure, calipers and other measuring devices. The ability to read and follow written instructions on production plan documents. The ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment. The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. The ability to read and understand manufacturing plans and prints or a willingness to learn. The ability to use a Windows based computer software for time keeping purposes. Must be willing to submit to a background check, pre-employment drug test. We are more interested in your future than your past.
