Project Assistant Manager’s Construction Position Gifford Industries has an immediate opening for Project Engineer/assistant Project Manager. Position. Construction, Architect and Engineering background is a Plus in Edmonds, WA we are seeking a Self-motivated individual to join our team. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to Quantity take off and estimation, interacting with clients and manufactures, and organizing and maintaining project file. This position is full time Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm Pay: Based upon Experience Key Requirements. • Competent computer skills and knowledgeable in the use of various Microsoft, Office applications included Word, Excel and ect… • Must be able to go on school ground and job sites. • Good written and verbal communications skills • Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects, prioritize workload, and work with minimal supervision • Estimating a plus • Strong Work ethic and attention to detail • Detail oriented problem solver. • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and task, to prioritize and organize, and work well under pressure and stress. • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change • Analyze and resolve work problems and determine work method alternatives Responsibilities: • Working on Bids/Proposal • Submittals documents • Closeout documents • Scheduling • Contract compliance • Ordering Materials • Able to multi-task, expected to bed and manage projects simultaneously. • Prepare/review/distribute submittals and shop drawings. • Maintain good relationship with the manufacturers, customers, architects, and company personnel involved with the project. • Monitor all projects to completion • Manage project changes, and prepare change orders where necessary • Ability to work well independently and within project teams and able to work effectively with others.
