About Us Founded in 1890, The University Club of San Francisco is a private city club offering a historic clubhouse, boutique hotel accommodations, dining, athletic facilities, and curated member events. We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to ensure our buildings and systems are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and appearance. Position Summary The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor oversees the day-to-day maintenance and repair needs of the Clubhouse, Athletic Facility, and Hotel. This hands-on leadership role ensures preventative maintenance programs are carried out, facilities are safe and compliant, and repair work is completed efficiently. Responsibilities - Perform and supervise maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections throughout the Clubhouse and Athletic Facility, to include landscape. - Lead and schedule maintenance staff. - Supervise contractors and vendors. - Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and records. - Respond promptly to facility emergencies. - Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, fire/life safety codes. - Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing repairs. - Coordinates facility purchases with accounting department; manages inventory of supplies and materials. -Assist with Club event setup, breakdown, and cleanup. Qualifications - 5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality, clubs, or hotels. - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. - Supervisory experience required. - Strong knowledge of maintenance and building systems. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. - Professional demeanor and well organized. - Flexibility for evening/weekend emergency response. - Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel -Attention to detail. -High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements - Ability to lift 50 lbs. - Ability to work on ladders, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions.
