ShareOur Indianapolis Shop has an immediate need for both an experienced MIG Welder and a Tig Welder. Fabrication experience is a plus but much of the work is pretty simple. The MIG welding pay will be based on experience and skills. We can negotiate based on where you land ($25 - $29). TIG Welder starting pay can go up to $32 per hour if you have all your own tools and equipment. We generally start out $28-$29 based on skillset. We will pay more to start if you can pass our pipe weld test. Anyone coming out of school with certs is welcome to apply. Don't overthink requirements because we have entry level positions however: Ideal TIG candidates can: - Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to determine the layout and assembly of pipes - Measure and mark pipes for cutting threading and welding - Assemble and secure pipe fittings and related equipment according to specifications - Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards - Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges or other testing equipment - Repair or replace damaged pipes or fittings as needed If you are talented and just do not have tools/equipment we can discuss your situation but pay would be reduced.
