A local contracting company is seeking a Finish Carpenter ASAP. Must have 5+ years of experience in both residential and Commercial fields. This position is available as soon as possible

We clean chimneys in apartment communities. We clean from the roof. We don't go inside. We use a patented system. You will need good ladder climbing skills and no fear of heights. Good skills with cordless drills and Sheet Metal. We will travel. We will go to Indianapolis, Chicago Milwaukee Cincinnati. I will pay for good hotel rooms and three meals a day. We will travel in a nice Tahoe. I need four people. Bring a friend. I will pay anyone extra who brings some body that can do the job. 2-3 weeks only

Facilities Maintenance Technician - HVAC Anticipated Starting Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 Starting Salary Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience The State Corporation Commission (SCC) seeks a customer-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our facilities. Joining an existing team of facilities staff, the Facilities Maintenance Technician will assist in day-to-day activities operations of SCC facilities (mainly our Tyler Building) and perform facilities operations support, including renovations, preventative maintenance services, repairs, and new system installations in the areas of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, painting, waste management, and general maintenance. The selected candidate for this position must work on-site and the position does not offer telework options. Additional responsibilities of this position are below: • triaging and responding to a wide variety of service calls and general maintenance requests across the areas mentioned above • performing the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of the SCC’s building(s) • monitoring and maintaining daily building operations, with an emphasis on HVAC, but also including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, painting, waste management, general maintenance, etc. • performing quality checks on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, monitoring systems performance and functionality, and making recommendations for improvements or upgrades • creating and implementing preventive maintenance procedures for maintaining building infrastructure and equipment • working with outside contractors tasked with performing renovations, preventative maintenance services, repairs, and new system installations in the areas of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, waste management, general maintenance, etc. • performing facilities maintenance activity using an automated facilities maintenance software tool • performing related work as required Preferred Qualifications • 6 or more years of experience in facilities maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general repair, construction and/or professional cleaning) • HVAC experience is strongly preferred • Journeyman certification in at least one area such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a similar field is a plus • Considerable knowledge and experience maintaining day-to-day operations of the facilities • Considerable knowledge of building lifecycle management, contractor management, and facilities management and maintenance For more information and to apply, please visit the SCC Career Center website at https://careercenter.scc.virginia.gov.

The ideal applicant has in-shop experience actually working on bikes but not required, and have exceptional mechanical aptitude. Mechanic tasks include, but are not limited to, full tune-ups and overhauls; rim brakes as well as mechanical and hydraulic disc brake work, derailleur adjustments, wheel truing, and more. All employees perform additional tasks as needed, including but not limited to, taking bikes up and down stairs and on and off racks, housekeeping such as sweeping, dusting, and taking trash out. Comfort on the computer is necessary. The employee must be able to perform some lifting and moving. Specifically, the job requires the ability to lift a bicycle (over 40 pounds) onto and off of an overhead rack, up and down stairs, and to move boxes with racks and bicycles up to 60 pounds. A Protech ADAS Technician performs static and dynamic calibrations for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems on various vehicles after repairs, using diagnostic tools and OEM specifications to ensure safety systems are functioning correctly. You will receive specialized paid training in interpreting complex ADAS data, completing pre- and post-repair scans, and providing detailed reports and explanations of calibration needs to customers and repair centers. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train good, hardworking people.
