HEAVY CIVIL CONSTRUCTION POSITIONS Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho LOCAL CIVIL CONSTRUCTION FIRM that specializes in government, commercial and private site development; earthmoving/excavation & grading as well as underground utilities projects. Currently hiring qualified and serious career-oriented professionals that possess the following skills and mature character. MECHANIC W/ HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR AND/OR TRUCKDRIVER W/ CDL: • Journeyman level mechanic with equipment and/or truckdriver experience on a wide variety of heavy equipment; engines to hydraulics and everything in between • Be able to spot problem and correct them quickly • Able to work alone • Able to work as a team and help wherever needed • Have a general ability to operate a wide range of equipment efficiently • Able to take instruction and initiate the plan • Willing and able to do physical labor • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance. REQUIREMENTS: • Commitment to the company’s vision and your career • Must conduct self in a highly professional manner • Must be in very good physical health and able to lift 70+ lbs. • All positions above must have a valid Driver’s License, clean driving record and reliable daily transportation • Travel and/or out of town stays at times may be required. But are rare • Must be routinely punctual and reliable to the job and on the job EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Operators/Drivers/Mechanics - 4 or more years of civil construction experience in the civil construction industry. Minimum High School diploma HOURS: 40-hour weeks or as necessary. Must be available for unexpected and/or pre-planned overtime if emergency and/or project timelines requires.
