Construction Equipment Mechanic (Panama City Beach)

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of aerial and lift equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, and other hydraulic and electrical equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring all machinery is operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect, diagnose, and repair scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other aerial equipment Perform routine preventative maintenance Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Keep accurate service records and logs Order and replace parts as necessary Maintain a clean and organized work area Ensure all work is completed according to OSHA and company safety standards Communicate with management about equipment status and required repairs QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of experience working on construction or heavy equipment Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Experience working on scissor lifts, boom lifts, and similar aerial equipment is required Ability to read technical manuals and schematics Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL is a plus) Own tools preferred (or willing to acquire them) Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification is a plus
