FORKLIFT DRIVER (OTAY MESA)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes, as well as adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to load and unload materials and products. Perform order picking using RF scanners and ensure accurate inventory management. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Support heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safe handling of materials at all times. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes. Certification in forklift operation is preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures. (We can Train) Ability to lift heavy loads consistently throughout the shift. Previous experience in shipping & receiving operations is advantageous. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
