Licensed Plumber (Wayne,NJ)

We are seeking a skilled and Licensed Plumber to become a 10% partner. The role comes with bonuses and becoming a Partner in Sheridan Mechanical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, construction, and HVAC systems. This role involves working on various construction sites, where you will be responsible for insuring plumbing systems are installed or repaired correctly. The successful candidate will be comfortable using hand tools and power tools, reading blueprints, and supervising the team as needed. Responsibilities Ensure plumbing systems are installed and repaired in residential and commercial buildings. Aid in the assembly of installing pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints to understand plumbing layouts and specifications. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and HVAC technicians. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. Requirements License and Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites. A Valid plumbing license is required.
