Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Educational Requirements: High school graduate or GED equivalent. Completed related studies program preferred, not required. Experience and Background: Two years of electrical maintenance experience. Experience working in remote arctic environment preferred. Skills in locating and correcting defects in electrical systems, components and equipment. Team player with good customer service, communication skills and very safe work ethics. Must be able to read and interpret instructions & manuals. Certificates, Licenses and Requirements: State of Alaska Electrical Journeyman Certificate of Fitness Valid Driver License that meets ICE Services insurance criteria for driving. North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Card – preferred, not required. Must pass a pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, occupational fitness test, criminal background check and computer-based testing. Be at least 18 years of age. Ability to lift & carry 65 pounds on regular basis, routine walking, standing, bending. There is a lack of immediate access to critical medical services as well as urban community services. Rotational schedule of at least 11.50 hours per day for a minimum of 21 days consecutively as required.
