Green Thumb Projects LLC is a residential green construction company based in Hood River, Oregon looking for high-integrity workers with an interest in eco-friendly construction to help fill out several positions as our project work load expands. We build beautiful and ultra high-efficiency homes with non-toxic and sustainable materials from the ground up. We are looking for individuals with experience in construction who have an strong interest in learning about the green-building strategies we use every day. We have a great team of builders and the nature of our daily work is diverse and keeps things interesting! If you're consider relocating to the beautiful Columbia River Gorge we can assist in finding housing. From thick-walled high-insulation homes powered with solar to homes built with plastered strawbale walls and rammed earth, we build homes that are beautiful, efficient to heat and cool, and sustainable. Wages are competitive and based on applicant experience. NOTE: this job is located an hour outside of Portland and applicants should live in the Columbia Gorge as the winter commute is not practicable.
