Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Schedules and assists with daily operations (service orders, repaints/re-carpets, apartment turnovers, etc.) 2. Inspect vacated apartments and complete ‘make-ready’ checklist and inform manager of needed services and repairs. 5. Complete preventative maintenance activities. Lead Maintenance technician positions require that an individual be able to lift moderate weights of between 30-60 lbs. on a regular basis and the ability to stand and/or walk all day. Able to work independently and strong customer service skills. In addition to the normal responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician, the Lead Maintenance Technician will take on the additional responsibility of filling in for the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager if they are unavailable. Minimum of 3+ years of residential property maintenance required. Must live within 30 minutes of Ayer for rotating on-call and have a valid driver’s license and own transportation. $150 premium paid for all week’s that you are on-call, additionally you are paid a time and a half rate for any emergency calls plus travel time. Position Overview: The Assistant Project Manager will oversee day-to-day field operations for construction and remodeling projects. This includes managing subcontractors, coordinating materials, and resolving job site issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, assertive, and ready to take ownership of project execution.
