Maintenance Handyman

Pay: From $18.00 per hour Job Title: Handyman / Maintenance Technician Location: Miami Gardens, FL We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our school’s facilities team. You’ll help keep our campuses in great shape by handling repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep. What You’ll Do: - Handle basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and drywall repairs. - Move and set up heavy furniture and equipment. - Perform routine building and grounds maintenance including landscaping. - Use a work order system (CMMS) to track tasks. - Work with staff and teachers to resolve maintenance requests quickly. What We’re Looking For: - Hands-on experience with general repairs and maintenance. - Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend/kneel, and work indoors/outdoors. - Reliable, punctual, and organized. - Positive attitude and good communication skills (English required, Spanish a plus). - Legal to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.
