General Warehouse Associate (Walnut)

Performs routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on transit buses, trucks, automobiles, and related equipment as well as assist other mechanics with more complex repairs to comply with manufacturer specifications and schedules.  Perform all routine, preventative and general maintenance on all BT vehicles to comply with manufacturers specifications.   Prepare work orders and maintain records of labor and usage of parts, supplies, fuel and tires.  Protect and secure parts, supplies, and maintenance facility.  Assist with inspection of department vehicles and equipment; perform weekly maintenance such as washing, greasing and checking fluid levels.  Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust and repair/replace lighting, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning components, including but not limited to seat inserts/cushions, ad racks, interior and exterior panels not requiring fabrication and applying touch-up paint on all transit vehicles.  Replace water pumps, generators, light bulbs, switches, tires, air systems, steering components, batteries, body interior/exterior panels, change oil, engine and transmission fluids, change oil filters.  Candidates will be required to obtain a CDL through our in-house training program.  This is a second shift position; starting wage $20/hour Apply now in 2 minutes!
