The climber is responsible for performing specialized tree climbing and pruning tasks, removing trees and stumping efficiently, safely and systematically for both residential and commercial properties. Additional qualifications include the following skills and the ability to demonstrate them competently: Knowledge of knots for tree climbing, safe operation and maintenance of chainsaws, experience using wood chippers, stump grinders, pruning poles, ropes, harnesses, gasoline-powered machinery, cabling or bracing, and use of truck-mounted lift platforms to reach specific branches.
