Toyota Hiace 4x4 Van project (needs block) - $3,000 (Wedgwood)

This *non-running* van was purchased with a cracked 3L (2.8) Diesel block, so the project will require at least a 3L block or 1-kz swap. Current engine has a mechanical fuel pump. This van is a unique configuration, as there are very few tall HiAce's that also feature a pop-up top. Van is right-hand drive. Automatic transmission and part-time 4x4 transfer case capable of 2wd/4wd/4-low, with Nissin front hubs, and the running gear matches the indestructible pickup/4runner from the era. Huge awning, camping power connection(Japanese), and built-in leveling feet to assist when camping, and excellent JDM rims. This vehicle was a mini RV configuration originally. There is rear hatch/bumper damage. I purchased this van as a project, but I've decided to let it go. Front seating area is complete, factory overhead bed slats included, back area is prepped for your van build. Age allows this to be re-registered as a collectors vehicle in WA.
