Description

Looking for experienced voice and data technicians with their own tools. Must be able to show credible cable installation, telephone wiring, and networking experience. Must have a reliable vehicle that you own (not borrow), and must be able to clear a criminal background and drug screen (no exceptions whatsoever). This is a 1099 position. You set your own hours and pickup work as you see fit. You are required to obtain your own insurance (est. $30/month). Pay is $35/hr labor and $25/hr travel. I will have no trouble keeping an experienced tech as busy as he wants to be. The U.S. Department of State (Department), Office of Inspector General (OIG) has a requirement for full-time Information Technology (IT) Management Networking and Security Services support. The purpose of the task order is to provide professional services personnel to provide quality, comprehensive IT support to the OIG in an effective and efficient manner with a vision to maintain effective and efficient IT operations commensurate with industry best practices, while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of OIG data.
