THE POSITION: We want to hire an energetic and knowledgeable Soccer Coach to lead our players in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety. Our ideal candidate has a background in soccer (collegiate, travel-team, club, or high school), and prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper, or leader). New Coaches can work 5-15 weekly classes. Reporting to the Dean of Student Life, the After School Movement Specialist will be responsible for leading after school physical activity with groups of students in grades K-3. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for promoting moving and playing. Responsibilities Lead a group of up to 18-20 youth in grades K-3 in daily after-school physical activities, and social-emotional learning through physical activities; Facilitate or co-facilitate lessons to help youth build their social and emotional skills; Model and encourage positive participation in all activities, with a focus on team building; Model professionalism through consistent attendance, timeliness, and preparation; Supervise and manage youth during all activities using positive youth development strategies; Participate in professional development and tactical training in addition to formal feedback and coaching. Qualifications Strong facilitation skills with youth in grades K-3; NSCA-CPT certification preferred; Working towards a Bachelors of Science in Recreation or Recreational Sports Management, preferred; Exhibits high energy, warmth, enthusiasm and patience in working with youth; Demonstrated interest in assisting students develop motor skills through athletics; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment; Excellent time-management skills: a self-starter who demonstrates initiative and follow-through; Experience with behavior management systems, including positive youth development, preferred; Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting; A strong belief in the mission and values of DREAM, including the belief that all students can succeed, and a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of our students, families, and community. At Amazing Athletes we teach children ages 18 months to 12 years old the basic fundamentals of 10 different sports in a fun, non-competitive environment. We are in the middle of a company-wide expansion and are seeking high-energy individuals to join our rock star team! You MUST enjoy having fun. You should LOVE sports and working with children. Diggitty Dogs is an upscale Dog Grooming Salon in North Royalton. We provide grooming services for dogs, as well as offer a Self-Serve Dogwash, and a small retail area. We are currently in need of a Full or Part Time (approx. 25-35 hours per week) Dog Bather, depending on your availability. MUST BE AVAILABLE SATURDAYS, plus at least two or three days (9-5) during the week. Very physical job, must be able to lift 40 lbs. Large and small dogs, position involves bending, lifting, reaching, shampooing, blow drying and general cleaning.
