Description

This is one of those examples of a vintage bikes where you just keep shaking your head in disbelief that it’s all still there. I say 99.9% STOCK because I’m pretty sure the bar ends aren’t stock. An absolutely INSANE Vintage 1991 Fisher Advance Splatter Paint MTB - DOWN TO THE OG FISHER FATTRAX TIRES!! Super clean Blue/mint/turquoise color scheme with silver splatter paint. 20 inches from center of BB to top of seat tube- of 50cm with a longer top tube at 23 inches. Makes it an extremely comfortable ride for medium size riders 5’9-6’ This was the most affordable Fisher in his lineup but it was given all the bells and whistles of the big boys including a very important advance in the frame tubing. In 1991 Fisher went to his MADE IN USA - Custom TRUE TEMPER Super Size Cr-Mo Tubing and Evolution Fork - adding lightness and strength to an already proven geometry. 26 Araya Wheels - straight and true Shimano Exage 500 LX Group in excellent shape This is back before the sale to Trek and before Gary Fisher added his first name to the brand. He touched absolutely EVERY SINGLE part of this bike. From the lightest stem in the game to the saddle to the seat post clamp…Just a beautiful time capsule straight from the sales floor in 1991. Issues that I can see - front derailleur/shifter will need tuning- heavy nicks on the chain stay- THE END. Come get this before I change my mind and build the sickest city/gravel ever known….
