Seeking Bass Player in Vancouver for Original Jam Band (Vancouver)

We are a guitarist and drummer in Vancouver looking for a bass player to complete a new original project. Our practice space is in a basement in downtown Vancouver, and we are ready to start rehearsing. Our sound is a mix of our jazz backgrounds and the music we love now. We aim for the improvisational energy of bands like Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Chalk Dinosaur, and Tedeschi Trucks Band, mixed with the groove of Khruangbin and the raw edge of the early Black Keys. We have several original song ideas to start with and want to build a setlist to play local shows. We are looking for a bassist who: Has a solid sense of groove and tone. Enjoys improvisation and creating parts within a song. Is committed to rehearsing regularly in Vancouver. A keyboard player would also be a great addition, but we are focused on finding the right bassist first.
